Committee & Pujari

Our ten-person board is elected every three years by the membership assembly. All board members serve pro bono — the association's only paid staff are our pujari. Every cent of a donation not spent on them flows into the temple's daily operation and the building of our permanent home.

Our pujari are trained in the South Indian Agama tradition and each speak several of the five languages our temple works in: Sanskrit for the mantras, Tamil or Hindi as the family language of many bhaktas, German or English for explanation and guidance.
