Ganesha Pooja

Before you move, sit an exam, start a company, marry, or travel — the pooja that opens the way.

Ganesha is called first, before anything else begins — a new flat, a final exam, a business idea, a wedding, a journey. Our pujari recites the Ganapati Atharvashirsha and performs the sixteen Upacharas (acts of worship), from welcoming the murti to the closing aarti.

You don't need to know any mantras. We explain each step in German or English and place the pushpas (flowers) and the water in your hand at the right moment.

Preparation

  • Reserve your appointment at least 3 days in advance.
  • Wear light, simple clothing (no leather).
  • Arrive 15 minutes before start.

What to bring

  • Flowers
  • Fruit (modaks especially welcome)
  • Incense (optional)
